Fasika has star billing in August (Late) Online Sale

A sensational catalogue featuring several black type performers – highlighted by the star G1 mare Fasika - has launched this afternoon in the Inglis Digital August (Late) Online Auction.

Fasika (So You Think) headlines a strong 298-lot catalogue that also includes the likes of Absolute Flirt (Stratum), Lucicello (I Am Invincible) and Thought Of That (So You Think), an abundance of race fillies and intriguing racehorse shares plus mares in foal to some of the leading stallions in the country.

Trained by Joe Pride and offered by Tricolours Syndications, Fasika secured five wins – three at Stakes level and five minor placings – including a 3rd place in the G1 All Aged Stakes behind Tofane and Pierata – from 15 career starts for $762,000 in prizemoney.

After winning her two starts as a 2YO and a Stakes race at start No.3, she raced exclusively in either Stakes races or newly formed ‘rich races’ and defeated the likes of Santa Ana Lane, Tofane, Bivouac, Super Seth, I Am Excited, Behemoth, Fierce Impact, Dreamforce, Mizzy, Sweet Deal, Fiesta, Zousain, Standout, Wild Planet, Madam Rouge, Champagne Cuddles etc.

• Harmonium – 4YO mare by I Am Invincible, won her maiden on debut as a 2YO and is offered as a broodmare by Darby Racing

• Jawwaal 10% Share – offered unreserved by Mitch Beer Racing, who will use the proceeds of the sale to hopefully purchase a winning Kosciuszko ticket

• Lucicello – Metro-winning 2YO by I Am Invincible from a top-class international family, placed in the G3 Up & Coming Stakes and Listed Rosebud

• Nerve Not Verve – Stakes-placed 6YO mare, who is a 1/2 sister to G1 Auckland Cup winner Glory Days

• Sabie Park – 4YO gelding that has won and placed from 4 starts to date with Hawkes Racing

• Safe Passage – 5YO Snitzel mare out of a daughter of Deep Impact, 3x winner from 8 starts including at Sandown

• Splendid Eagle – Sebring mare that has produced four winners and is a 3/4 sister to Eagle Way, offered in foal to Shamus Award

• Thought of That – 5YO So You Think gelding that won the G3 Caulfield Classic and has accepted to race at Sale this Sunday

Inglis Digital graduates continue to shine on the track, with a phenomenal 127 wins in Australia off the platform in the opening 19 days of the new racing season already.

Those successes come off the back of a stellar 2020/21 season, which saw 2080 Australian wins for Inglis Digital grads.
