Future of Muskoka Farm assured as the leading pre-training centre

The magnificent Muskoka Farm operated by Bob and Wendy Lapointe on the banks of the Hawkesbury River near Sydney will continue to provide high quality pre-training and spelling services to local and international clients for many years to come. After being placed on the market for sale by private treaty, Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster confirmed today that an exciting new partnership including Bob Lapointe and overseas investors has been formed to operate the property well into the future. Bob and Wendy will continue to live on the farm and assist Tim and Adrienne Clarke with management and daily operations. Bob and Wendy will retain part ownership of the property and business.

Muskoka Farm has produced many stars of the racetrack over the years, including the legendary November Rain, Emancipation and Handy Proverb, and more recent stars such as Dance Hero, Sebring, Happy Zero, Inspiration, Trust Me Bet, Secret Admirer, Squamosa, Hot Snitzel, Little Surfer Girl and Theseo. Muskoka has been churning out local and international Group 1 winners for almost 40 years, and is well positioned to continue in this tradition.

Bob Lapointe is delighted with this outcome, commenting that, "Its business as usual at Muskoka Farm. Our clients and staff have been very supportive during the sale process and I would like to thank each and every one of them for their loyalty and commitment to Muskoka. My new partners are very passionate about horse racing and see great potential for our industry, particularly in Asia. The future for Muskoka is very exciting for all involved.”
