Gosford Gold Cup Day entries close Thursday

Nominations for Gosford Gold Cup Day on November 18 will close at 11am this Thursday.

The highlight of the day will be the $125,000 Listed Gosford Quarries Gosford Gold Cup (2100m) and it will be supported by a strong card which offers more than $300,000 in prizemoney and bonuses.

The major support race on the program is the 3YO Benchmark 65 Handicap (1600m) which carries $30,000 in prizemoney as well as a $50,000 bonus should the race be won by a horse nominated for the Inglis Race Series. Acceptances for the Gosford Gold Cup close at 9am on Monday November 15 with the barrier draw for the feature to be held at midday at The Hive, Erina Fair Shopping Centre.

Acceptances for all other races on the program close at 9am on Tuesday November 16.

$20,000 CLASS 2 (Open age/sex Handicap over 1600m)

$20,000 MAIDEN PLATE (Open age/sex set-weights over 1000m)

$20,000 MAIDEN (Open age/sex Handicap over 1100m)
