GPI agrees to Everest slot sale

The GPI Racing slot for the 2019 running of The Everest has been sold, subject to the completion of a contract of sale.

Vendor Greg Ingham has exercised his right to accept an offer prior to the original closing time of the expressions of interest process, which was 5pm today, April 30.

He has entered into a Heads of Agreement with a proposed purchaser.

An announcement on who will be the 12th and final slot holder for this year’s The Everest will be confirmed once the legal process between vendor, buyer and Racing NSW is complete.

The $14m The Everest will be run at Randwick on Saturday October 19.
