Grafton Guineas Supported By Additional $50,000 Inglis Bonus

9th Jun 2015

Racing NSW - Tuesday, 9 June 2015

Clarence River Jockey Club is proud to announce that the 2015 Grafton Guineas (1600m) run on Ramornie Handicap Day (8th July) will again be supported by the addition of a $50,000 Inglis Bonus.

The Guineas is a $45,000 3yo event which always attracts a high quality field of three-year-olds from around Australia and the addition of the Inglis Bonus payable to eligible Inglis sales graduates adds great interest to the race.

CRJC's CEO, Michael Beattie said: “The Grafton July Racing carnival is one of the best in country Australia and to again receive the support of Inglis, the major thoroughbred auction house in Australia by way of a bonus, is something we are very proud of.

"Inglis has been a major contributor to our carnival over a number of years and I know from speaking to trainers throughout the state the addition of the bonus again this year will benefit the Guineas greatly.”

Nominations for the Grafton Guineas, Ramornie Handicap and Grafton Cup and the other support races over the two major days of the July Carnival close on Thursday 2nd July 2015.
