Group winners highlight strong December Thoroughbred Sale

Group winners Nicoscene, Chivalry and Shards highlight a strong catalogue on offer at the Inglis December Thoroughbred Sale in Melbourne next month.

In total 95 Lots have been catalogued, which include Group 2 winner Nicoscene, Group 3 winners Chivalry and Shards and Listed winner Dylanson, as well as Stakes-placed gallopers Diamond Oasis and Nordic Empire.

Also on offer is a share in Group 1 winner and now leading stallion Star Witness.

Godolphin is the leading vendor for the sale, offering 11 Lots, ahead of Ridgeview Park and Boneo Horse Ranch (nine Lots) and Lindsay Park (eight).

Leading sires Exceed And Excel, Choisir, Hinchinbrook, Medaglia d’Oro, More Than Ready, Redoute’s Choice, Not A Single Doubt, Sebring, Snitzel, Street Cry and So You Think are all represented.

Inglis Victorian Bloodstock Manager Simon Vivian was pleased with the strength of stock on offer.

“There are some very high quality horses coming to the sale which I’m sure buyers will be very interested in,’’ Vivian said.

“This sale has historically offered a broad variety of horses and this year is no different, and I’m confident the clearance rate will be high as per usual for the December sale.’’

The sale will take place at the Inglis Oaklands Complex in Melbourne on Friday December 9 from 11am.

Supplementary entries close on Friday December 2.
