Featuring 24 half sisters to stakes winners, mares in foal to top stallions and a number of well performed fillies straight off the track, the timing of the sale presents a great opportunity to trade bloodstock on the dawn of the new breeding season.

Hairy (Lot 101) has been a wonderful performer over a number of seasons, amassing seven wins and more than $325,000 in prizemoney. Her career was highlighted by stakes wins in the Winning Edge Presentation Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill and the Carrington Stakes (1100m) at Randwick. Underlining her versatility, the Fuji Kiseki mare was also stakes placed up to 2000m.

Other fillies or mares straight off the track include, Modonna (Lot 134), a stakes placed close relation to Fastnet Rock, as well as Cerinthe (Lot 74), an Exceed And Excel half-sister to Champion two-year-old Victory Vein.

Notable highlight mares in foal include Quillionaire (Lot 10), a half sister to G1 Queensland Oaks winner Zagalia, being sold in foal to Lonhro.

Lot 136 is Mrs Windsor, a daughter of a G1 winner and half sister to two G1 winners, being sold in foal to War Pass (USA).

There are also mares in foal to Champion First Season Sire Stratum and exciting newcomer Haradasun.

Buyers should note the sale falls on the same weekend as a number of the Stallion Open days at some of Australia's most famous stud farms, meaning they can also use the trip to the Hunter to inspect some of the country's best stallions.

Supplementary entries for the sale close Friday, August 20. Supplementary Entry forms can be downloaded HERE
