Shares in reigning G1 Caulfield Cup champion Duke de Sessa, G1 Toorak Hcp winner Attrition and tomorrow’s G1 Railway Stakes favourite Light Infantry Man headline an exciting Inglis Digital November (Late) Online Sale.
The three Spring stars form part of a Halo Racing unreserved reduction, offered on behalf of the late Colin McKenna, who died last month.
In total there are 41 entries in the Halo Racing element of the catalogue which not only includes 5% shares in each of the aforementioned trio but also talented gallopers such as Federer (10%), Chorlton Lane (17.5%), Future History (5%), Interpretation (5%), Makram (30%), Sunshineinmypocket (10%) etc as well as 100% of the undefeated Perfect Excuse and dual winner Half Yours, who won his penultimate start by six lengths.
“Colin McKenna, with his wife Janice, was an incredible patron of racing…the blue and green silks of Halo Racing are synonymous with top-class horses through the likes of Jameka, Gregers, Another Wil, Attrition (pictured) and many others and no doubt will continue to be,’’ Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch said.
“Halo Racing is a very significant owner both in terms of scale and quality, so the reduction sale, following the sad passing of the much-missed Colin, is a pragmatic step to manage stock numbers.
“There are a number of hugely desirable lots amongst the group and I’m sure the opportunity to invest in such stock will be greeted enthusiastically by buyers.’’
There are also some exceptional current breeding prospects being offered in the November (Late) catalogue.
Our Belisa is the dam of this month’s $1m Inglis Golden Gift winner North England, himself a $280,000 graduate of the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in February.
