Important Catalogue Updates for Australian Racehorse Sale

The inaugural Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale, which is now less than two weeks away, received a couple of timely updates over the weekend.

The Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale will be held in Melbourne at Oaklands on Sunday November 15.

Among the racehorse entries is SYREON (Lot 72), who scored a stylish win under 58kg in the $70,000 Castle Hill Handicap (1400m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

Syreon is a lightly raced son of Flying Spur from the former G2 winning Just A Dancer mare Sorrento. He was originally a $100,000 yearling and he is now the winner of four races in 11 starts. He is being sold as part of the Shipton Lodge Dispersal.

Another notable catalogue update from the weekend was ROYAL REIGN (Lot 40), who scored a cavalier three lengths win over 1700m at Warrnambool on Sunday. It was the third career win for the daughter of Viscount, who is currently prepared out of the Matthew Williams stable.

“It was pleasing to see these horses register new wins at the weekend and it underlines the fact that this is a catalogue of some depth, with plenty of opportunities for astute buyers to purchase a horse ready for the races,” Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said.

Videos of Breeze-ups, trials and race footage from Select lots are now online at InglisTV and are proving extremely popular with over 1600 unique individuals having already accessed the current content, with each video being viewed 120 times on average.

Supplementary entries will close at 12 noon on Monday November 9. Entry forms can be downloaded HERE.

Buyers not able to attend the sale can log on to view the sale at Inglis Sale Day Live and use the Online Bidding Service to lodge bids.

The Xray repository will also be available online.
