Inglis Announce New Incentives for 2016 Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale

Entries are now open for the Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale on 1, 2, 3 and 4 May 2016 and Inglis are excited to announce unbeatable new incentives and a lucrative commission structure, which make it more compelling than ever for breeders and vendors to sell their Broodmares and Weanlings at Newmarket.

After recording outstanding results in 2015, where the introduction of the Platinum weanling section created momentum which continued throughout the broodmare section, the structure of the sale in 2016 has been further engineered to benefit breeders and vendors.

“Inglis is very eager to support our clients right across the industry, from those with black-type winning mares off the track, to those breeders looking to trade high-class weanlings, therefore any proceeds of a horse’s sale price in excess of $100,000 will be commission-free in 2016,” said Inglis National Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy.

“This will mean that vendors whose weanling or mare sells for $400,000, for example, will pay only $8,000 in commission,” D’Arcy added.

The timing of the sale also provides that any earnings from Broodmares, Weanlings and Race Mares are guaranteed to be in the pockets of vendors by Wednesday 15 June.

Furthermore, Inglis are looking to assist farms who sell mares and weanlings on behalf of clients with travel rebates available to vendors who sell three or more lots in their draft, paid according to the following structure:

Gross Turnover | Travel Rebate Payable To You ----- | ----- : $100,000 – $249,000 | $1,000 $250,000 – $499,000 | $2,500 $500,000 – $999,000 | $5,000 $1 million + | $10,000

Inglis will also be strongly supporting breeding and pin hooking clients with travel and accommodation assistance to ensure the presence of an outstanding buying bench.

“I invite vendors to contact myself or any member of the Inglis Bloodstock team directly to discuss how we can achieve the best result trading your bloodstock at the first breeding stock sale for the year. We will be on the road visiting properties in the coming weeks and can provide independent appraisals of weanlings and mares ahead of the breeding season,” added D’Arcy.
