While at Arrowfield he advised on the purchase of a number of mares including the dams of Group One winners Mentality and Fashions Afield. Byron extended his overseas experience to the United States, where for the past three and a half years he has been the Director of the Stallion Division for Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky. In 2007 Taylor Made was named the leading stud farm in North America by the Thoroughbred Times.

"I am delighted to be joining the team at William Inglis & Son as National Sales Manager,” commented Byron Rogers. “They have been the leading auctioneering company in Australia for over a century and their reputation for honesty and professionalism in every transaction is a hallmark of their success and a shared belief of mine. As National Sales Manager I am looking forward to working closely with Inglis clients on a day to day basis, ensuring that their needs are met at any time of the year and helping them reach their goals."
