Inglis managing director Mark Webster today announced the appointment of Ms Adrianne Sarkozy to the newly created role of national sponsorship and alliance manager. Adrianne is well known within racing circles and joins Inglis from her role as sponsorship and business development manager at the Australian Racing Museum and Racing Victoria Limited.

Reporting to Mark Webster, Adrianne will be responsible for recruiting new corporate sponsors for Inglis sales, events and products.  She will also be responsible for securing support from government departments and industry bodies to assist Inglis in attracting new buyers to grow export sales.  Recognising Adrianne's skill in organising events such as the 2007 Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Awards and this years Australian Racehorse of The Year and Hall of Fame dinner, Adrianne will also oversee major events conducted by Inglis in Victoria.

Adrianne has a wealth of sporting experience. She has been the general manager of Sportpro, the events manager for the Richmond Football Club and managed the tourism marketing operations for the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCG). She has also worked closely with the Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce on a number of projects.

Announcing this appointment, Webster commented that, “ Adrianne's experience in securing and servicing sponsors and working with government will provide Inglis with the opportunity to better service our clients, vendors and buyers alike. Her enthusiasm, energy and determination are contagious and will no doubt add greater creativity and complexion to the way we do business. It will be a delight to have her on our team.”

Despite this being a national role, Adrianne will be based out of the Inglis Melbourne office and will work closely with both NSW and Victorian Inglis staff and current clients, racing bodies from both states, potential sponsors and government bodies from Victoria and NSW and will travel to Sydney regularly. Her appointment will take effect on September 29.
