The release of ANZ form’s juvenile ratings for 2010-11 reveals that Inglis was the only sales company in the southern hemisphere to sell a Top 10 rated youngster last season.
Homebred’s for Darley & Gooree had a great two-year-old season with Sepoy, Helmet, Benfica and Smart Missile, but outside that quartet, Inglis graduates shone, with each of the three major yearling sales well represented in the top ranks.
Easter youngsters FOXWEDGE ($925,000, c Fastnet Rock-Forest Native), ELITE FALLS ($300,000, f More Than Ready-Niagara Falls) and MOSHEEN ($250,000, f Fastnet Rock-Sumehra) proved themselves right up with the best of the season, with the latter two placing in the Golden Slipper.
UATE ($47,500, c Ad Valorem-Long Walk) and dual Inglis Race Series winner PANE IN THE GLASS ($32,000, f Testa Rossa-Lyrics) flew the flag for Classic, while MASTHEAD ($65,000, c Written Tycoon-Balsamico) was a consistent performer for Premier right throughout the season.
“Team Darley had an unforgettable season and to make a clean sweep of the Group 1 features is unprecedented, so everyone involved deserves the highest accolades,” Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said.
“But we still had much to be proud of with our Inglis graduates and the Top 10 list underlines how buyers at our yearling sales continue to reap the rewards.
“Inglis graduates continue to lead the way in two-year-old racing, having sold 12 individual Australian 2YO Group 1 winners in the past six seasons.”

“Recent results show that Inglis graduates win more two-year-old Group 1 races than any other sales company and the likes of Uate & Foxwedge underline how buyers are able to purchase top line youngsters from under $50,000 to over $500,000" Webster said.
