Inglis is pleased to announce the launch of a new and innovative service for their clients named Inglis eCommerce, incorporating Sale Entry and Document Search features.
Inglis eCommerce allows clients to transact with Inglis via a secure section of the Inglis website. Once registered, clients are able to login to their account at any time of the day. Once logged in they are able to upload sales entries, make electronic payments and access sale and financial documents to review the status of their account.
To utilise the eCommerce facility, both new and existing customers will need to visit www.inglis.com.au/register to register. Users will then be emailed login details and are free to utilise the service. Over the next week existing customers will also be sent a letter in the mail with their account code and keyword to link their current account(s), noting many clients sell under different entities and account codes.
Clients who utilise Ardex to manage their business will soon be able to transact directly with Inglis from their own Ardex interface and will not need to login via the Inglis website. Once Ardex clients upgrade their existing software package with the new sales module, they will be able to upload sales entries direct from Ardex, simplifying the entire sales entry process for all involved. Ardex staff will be contacting their clients in the coming weeks to facilitate this service.
The two major sections of the eCommerce facility are detailed below. It is anticipated that this service will be further developed in the future based on the needs of our clients. It is our goal at Inglis to streamline communication and transactions with our clients and to lead the way in terms of customer service.
Sale Entry
In another Australian first for the industry, registered users on the Inglis website will also have the ability to enter horses into sales via the internet. Vendors will be able to submit entries for all upcoming Inglis sales, including the major 2009 Inglis Yearling Sales.
Document Search
Document Search allows you to view sale documents and tax invoices for the accounts you have linked to your online registration. This process is the next step for Inglis in utilising the web to provide up to the minute information to their clients including sales, purchases and accounts details. Inglis registered users who link their accounts will have the ability to search, view and print their information directly from the Inglis website.
