Inglis Melbourne December Thoroughbred Catalogue now online

The catalogue for the Inglis Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale, to be held at Oaklands on Friday December 17, is now online.

The sale boasts quality lots, including broodmares, yearlings, unbroken stock and racehorses.

To date, 53 broodmares have been entered, including half-sisters Glacial Lass & Nordica, who hail from the family of undefeated Inglis graduates Black Caviar and her brother Moshe. Flemington winning Canny Lad mare Glacial Lass is being offered with a bay filly at foot by Black Caviar’s sire Bel Esprit and in-foal to Bushranger (IRE). Western Symphony (USA) mare Nordica will be offered with a bay colt at foot by Magnus and in-foal to Shinzig.

There are 25 half-sisters to stakes winners catalogued, including mares in-foal to Danzero, Foreplay, Magnus, Bushranger (IRE) and Statue Of Liberty (USA). Mares will also be offered with foals at foot by the likes of Bel Esprit, Statue Of Liberty (USA), Magnus and Stratum.

There is a strong selection of yearlings, race fillies and geldings to choose from, including city performers Daad’s Boy, De Dion Bouton, Sesotho and Secret Encounter.

"Breeders, agents, owners and trainers will yet again have plenty to choose from amongst the breeding and racing stock on offer at Oaklands just prior to Christmas," said Inglis Director Peter Heagney.
