Inglis Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale this Friday

This Friday's Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale, to be held at Oaklands from 11am, has a catalogue of 212 horses, including 45 supplementary entries. As is always the case with this sale, it will feature a number of mares being offered with foals at foot.

Numerous promising young sires are represented by foals, including Al Samer, Keep The Faith, Gonski, Al Maher, Written Tycoon, Kempinsky and Strada.

Top stallion Bel Esprit also has progeny among the foals at foot.

Mares by outstanding sires like Dehere, Danehill Dancer, Flying Spur, Scenic, Canny Lad, Danzero, Encosta De Lago, Danewin, Sir Tristram, Secret Savings, El Gran Senor, Umatilla, Marscay and Galileo are also catalogued.

Covering Sires include promising young stallions like God's Own, Written Tycoon, Primus, Consolidator and Kempinsky.

The supplementary entries include mares by Flying Spur, Anabaa, Straight Strike, Footstepsinthesand, Bianconi, El Moxie, Grass Wonder, Golden Snake, Quest For Fame and Dash For Cash.

This sale also has a selection of yearlings by the likes of Commands, Bel Esprit, Honours List, Tobougg, Footstepsinthesand, Black Hawk, Invinicible Spirit and Good Journey.

Inglis Mixed sales have a superb record of unearthing future stars for the astute buyer from the racehorse section, and this sale will be the last opportunity for buyers to secure a racing prospect through the Inglis sale ring prior to March 2009.

Selling begins at Oaklands from 11am and online bidding will be available for those buyers who cannot make it to Melbourne.
