The third leg of the Singapore Golden Horseshoe Series – “Inglis Melbourne Juvenile Stakes” will take place this Friday, 17 April 2015 at the Singapore Racecourse. It will be an exciting race over 1,200m on turf as Singapore’s two-year-olds vie for yet another opportunity to win the $90,000 purse, a possible $30,000 bonus and the coveted trophy.

“The second leg of the Series showed how exhilarating the racing action was, with Super One winning that race and the bonus, in style. With the next leg sponsored by Inglis, we look forward to yet another night of spectacular racing as the Series continue,” said Mr Simon Leong, Vice President (Corporate Services) of Singapore Turf Club.

“It is thanks to Australia’s skilful breeders and vendors that Aus-bred horses continue to top the rankings in Asia such as Able Friend in Hong Kong and Zac Spirit in Singapore. Inglis are very thankful that vendors choose to sell their great champions with Inglis and we look forward to assisting clients to unearth more just like them into the future,” said Inglis’ Asia Representative, My Peter Twomey.

“I Am Invincible’s son Super One was very impressive in the second leg of this 2YO series as it is with much anticipation we look forward to the third leg, the Inglis Melbourne Juvenile Stakes,” Mr Twomey added.

If the winning horse for this leg is an Australian-sired and was offered for sale at a public auction through Inglis or Magic Millions as a yearling (means qualified horse)*, it will be entitled to a bonus of $30,000. If a non-qualified horse wins any of the five lead-up races, the respective bonus for that race will jackpot to the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe race on Friday, 15 May 2015.

Should a non-qualified horse win the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe race, the remaining bonus monies, taking in any previous bonus monies not having been paid out, will be paid to the connections of the qualified horse that won the greatest amount of prizemoney during the Series.
