Inglis Nursery Hope Wins Trial

Racing and Sports - Tuesday, 8 December 2015

Mick Price may not have been pleased that he had to trial his unraced juvenile Extreme Choice but the colt did the job well at Rosehill on Tuesday.

Price brought the Not A Single Doubt youngster to Sydney for Saturday’s $500,000 Inglis Nursery at Randwick but was required to send him to the barrier trials to gain his clearance to race with his Melbourne jumpouts not being recognised in New South Wales.

Extreme Choice jumped quickly in 900 metre trial and speared to the front for jockey Glyn Schofield before running home strongly under a tight hold.

He drew away late to defeat Chris Waller’s Alpha Son by two lengths in 53.8 seconds.
