Inglis Quinella in Group 3 Spring Stakes

Uxorious led home an Inglis quinella in South Australia today, taking out the Group 3 SAJC Spring Gully Spring Stakes by two lengths from Adelaide flyer Periduki.

UXORIOUS (P$34,000 2006 Select Weanling Sale, 6g Choisir-Shiny Mai) fulfilled one of his trainer Matthew William’s main ambitions by winning the Wangoom Handicap at his local Warrnambool back in May and today took a liking to the track at Morphettville to defeat fellow Inglis graduate PERIDUKI ($4,000 2006 Autumn, 7g Perugino-Miduki).

Uxorious is now the winner of seven races from 13 starts for earnings over $275,000 and joins a long line of stakes winners from Inglis Weanling Sales which includes last season’s dual Group 1 winning filly Yosei.
