Inglis Recruits Leading Industry Figure

Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster today announced the appointment of highly respected stud manager Sam Fairgray to the position of New South Wales Bloodstock Manager.

Sam has been employed at leading Hunter Valley stud Arrowfield for 14 years, holding the position of Stud Manager since 2007.

"We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of Sam's experience joining our bloodstock team based out of the Sydney office. Sam is one of the most knowledgeable and well liked people in the Australian thoroughbred industry and we are confident that he will become a highly productive member of our team," said Webster.

"Sam will be able to assist our clients with professional advice in raising young horses through to the sale ring. He has a tremendous eye for envisaging what weanlings can grow into and I am sure our clients will benefit from his expertise learned at one of the world's leading thoroughbred nursery’s.

Sam will be joining Inglis from early August and will report to Jonathan D’Arcy.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to advise our clients of a couple of other key changes. Jonathan D'Arcy has been promoted to the newly formed position of National Bloodstock Director and Bonnie Connellan will be taking up the position of Group Marketing Manager, both reporting directly to me. Peter Twomey has been appointed to a new position as Business Development Manager in our Sydney office having recently returned from a posting as our Inglis Asia Representative based in Singapore.
