The Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series for 2014 gets underway at 10am this Sunday in Sydney with the 480 lot Classic Summer Book.
Over 4,500 entries have been received for the series which covers six sales in Sydney, Melbourne and Scone during the next five months.
“The whole Inglis team are certainly looking forward to Lot 1 walking into the Newmarket ring this Sunday,” said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster.
“Our expert bloodstock team has carefully selected yearlings which have been reared in some of the best breeding environments that can be found in the world. They are catalogued over our range of sales to suit the needs of every vendor and prospective buyer.”
Sydney Classic continues to produce top class thoroughbreds that achieve heights far greater than their price tags like Fiveandahalfstar, Boomwaa and Sincero.
Melbourne Premier goes from strength to strength just like the graduates it unearths; from champion sprinter Black Caviar to Caulfield Cup winning stayer Fawkner.
The Australian Easter Yearling Sale remains the pinnacle of all bloodstock interests in the Southern Hemisphere. Exceed And Excel (Champion sire 2012/13); All Too Hard (Champion 3yo colt), Shamus Award (WS Cox Plate) and Camarilla (Group 1 winning dam of Guelph) are just a few of the recent Easter stars to shine on and/or off the racetrack.
“Attending the Inglis Yearling Sales Series is a prescription for global success,” states Webster.
