Inglis Yearling Sale Preview on TVN Tonight

A preview of each of the major Inglis Yearling Sales for 2010 will be screened on TVN this evening from 8pm.

Host Caroline Searcy is joined by Inglis Directors Jonathan D’Arcy and Peter Heagney in highlighting what buyers have to choose from at each of the Sydney Classic, Melbourne Premier and Australian Easter Yearling Sales next year.

The Sydney Classic Sale will open the 2010 season for Inglis, on January 24 and 25, with 522 yearlings catalogued (86% of which are BOBS eligible). With 21 individual stakes winners last season, Classic continues to be an outstanding source of value winners, with Saturday’s $250,000 Inglis Nursery victor Chance Bye, a $15,000 purchase, the latest case in point.

The Melbourne Premier Sale highlighted in Hong Kong just last Sunday by World Champion Sprinter Sacred Kingdom, will be held at Oaklands from March 1-4, with 724 yearlings catalogued. This includes 78 yearlings from stakes winning dams (including 7 G1 winners) and 74 youngsters that are either half, three-quarter or full relations to stakes winners (including 10 G1 winners).

Australasia’s leading source of stakes and Group 1 winners is the Australian Easter Yearling Sale to be held in 2010 over three sessions from April 6-8. This sale continues to be the Southern Hemisphere standard bearer and in 2010, the catalogue includes progeny from 51 Group 1 winning mares and siblings to 59 G1 winners.

After tonight’s Preview screening, the show will be replayed regularly over the summer on TVN.

For those that cannot watch tonight, it will be available on Inglis TV from tomorrow morning.
