International mare in foal to Frankel headlines huge December Digital Sale

A mare from an outstanding international family and offered in foal to Champion Sire Frankel, headlines an incredibly strong Inglis Digital December Online Sale catalogue of 360 lots, which is now open for bidding.

Poetic Harmony, is winning half sister to Stakes winner and G1 placed Dubai Gina (Dubai Destination), with her resulting foal a close relation to Godolphin’s superstar colt Adayar (Frankel).

Adayar (pictured) is a dual G1 winner this year, with a dominant victory in The Derby at Epsom before becoming the first Derby winner in 20 years – since Frankel’s sire Galileo – to claim the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

Adayar, who remains in training for the 2022 season, has a Timeform rating of 131.

Frankel is the sire of 30 individual southern hemisphere-bred winners, 6 of whom are Stakes winners, including G1 winning pair Hungry Heart and Converge.

His current Stakes winners/runners ratio from his southern hemisphere-bred crops is over 14%, with his yearling average in excess of $480,000.

Poetic Harmony is offered by Hazelwood Bloodstock and is booked to fly to Australia on February 18.

The December Online Sale comprises of 195 racehorses (88 race fillies), 74 broodmares, 40 shares and 47 yearlings.

There are also multiple entries from vendors such as Busuttin Racing, Cangon Stud, Chris Waller Racing, Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing, Glen Gallic Stud, Lindsay Park Racing, M.G. Price Racing and Breeding, Malua Racing, Morningside, River Junction, Royal Bloodstock, Superhorse Trust (Reduction Sale) and Yulong Investments.

The December Online Sale is the final Inglis Digital auction for 2021, concluding another record-breaking 12 months for the platform, with more than $80 million traded so far, compared to $52 million in 2020.

Inglis Digital graduates have won 2355 races this calendar year, and 1003 races so far in the 2021/22 season.

Today, Friday - $14,000 buy Charmmebaby (Charm Spirit), became yet another Stakes winner for the platform in the Listed Brisbane Handicap at Doomben.

The 5YO mare was purchased as a five-start maiden in May 2020 by Glen Milligan and has since won eight races from 27 starts and $380,000 in prizemoney.

There have also been several black-type updates for mares recently sold on Inglis Digital, including two of the first three across the line in the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes at Caulfield.

Petite (Reset) was bought for $35,000 in the November (Late) Sale, just days before her Brazen Beau colt Boldinho ran a strong second in the Merson Cooper.

He will compete in the $400,000 Listed Inglis Nursery tomorrow at Randwick.

Merson Cooper third placegetter was Moko (Impending) – his dam Zubbaya (Dubawi) was sold for $60,000 in the March (Early) Sale carrying a full relation.

Others include Electra (Zizou)– a $1250 purchase in the September (Early) Sale, who is now the dam of G2 winner Electric Girl – and $4500 June Digital graduate Maloose, whose 2YO Sepoy filly Kiki Express won the Listed Debutant Stakes.

Plus, the dam and a half sister to G3 Ottawa Stakes winner Who Doubted Me (Not a Single Doubt) were both inexpensive purchases on Inglis Digital.

The final countdown in the December Online Sale will commence at 12pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, December 15.
