Inglis Great Southern Sale Extended

Due to overwhelming support from vendors the Inglis Great Southern Sale has been extended to four days, and will run on 21, 22, 23 and 24 June 2015 at Inglis’ Oaklands Complex in Melbourne.

More than 700 entries have been received for the sale, which will offer 350 weanlings, 265 mares, and 100 racing stock.

The sale will commence with weanlings on Sunday 21 and Monday 22. The first of the broodmares will also be sold on Monday 22 and continue on Tuesday 23. The sale will conclude with racehorses, yearlings and unbroken stock on Wednesday 24 June.

Following significant increases in the average, median and gross figures at the 2014 sale, and an excellent clearance rate of 88% in the weanling section, the 2015 sale has again been well supported by our vendors.

“We are also pleased to introduce the Platinum Weanling Session as part of Melbourne’s largest breeding stock sale. This initiative should prove very popular with buyers, particularly those wishing to pin hook weanlings to take through to yearling sales” said Victorian Manager Peter Heagney

The Platinum Weanling Session is for weanlings which have been pre-sale X-rayed. This section proved to be very successful at the recent Inglis Australian Weanling Sale and has been well supported by vendors at this sale.

Entries for the Inglis Great Southern Sale have been finalised, however a supplementary catalogue will be conducted for all sections with entries closing on Friday 12 June.

The sale will also present plenty of opportunities for people to invest wisely in the world-class VOBIS Gold and Super VOBIS schemes. For more information on these schemes visit Racing.com
