Rare Opportunity

Breednet - Tuesday, 18 August 2015

Savvy breeders will be offered a rare opportunity at the 2015 Inglis August Thoroughbred Sale this Friday in Melbourne with two shares in Black Caviar’s sire Bel Esprit to be offered at public auction.

To be offered as Lot 214 and 215 by Pinnacle Thoroughbreds, the two shares entitle the shareholder to one breeding nomination per share each breeding season.

Each share also provides a prospective shareholder with a potential 2% share of any earnings distribution declared per breeding season by the Bel Esprit Syndicate managed by Sire Custodians.

A top class sire of the winners of over $47 million in prizemoney highlighted by 21 stakes-winners including Group I stars Black Caviar, Bel Sprinter and Bel Mer, Bel Esprit has been super popular at stud since his retirement in 2003.

He has been the Champion Sire for Victoria for the past eight seasons and has sired over 100 winners in each of the past five seasons.

He has covered over 1800 mares in his 12 seasons at stud and continues to be a highly desirable choice for broodmare owners.

Switched to Eliza Park Queensland this year, Bel Esprit will cover another big book of mares at a fee of $18,700 and is set to spread his magic even further.
