June Weanling And Thoroughbred Sale Catalogue Online

23rd May 2006

The catalogue for the Inglis June Weanling and Thoroughbred Sale is now available for viewing online.

Some 1117 lots have been catalogued for the Melbourne auction, which commences on Sunday, June 25 with the two-day Weanling sale - the largest of its kind ever to be conducted in Victoria.

Last Saturdays VRC Jeune Handicap winner and Group 3 Easter Cup runner-up Rubijon is just one of many Weanling Sale graduates successful on the track this season, with others including Dr Nipandtuck, Master Archie, Chetwynd South et al.

“As well as being the largest weanling sale ever conducted in Victoria it is also the best on quality with most of Australia’s leading sires represented,” said Inglis Director Peter Heagney.

“Similarly, with 390 broodmares in foal to the likes of Redoute’s Choice, Encosta De Lago, Flying Spur, Reset, Red Ransom and Elvstroem there will be mares to suit every breeder. I have no doubt there will be some quality value on offer,” he added.

The highlight of the racehorse section will undoubtedly be the unreserved reduction of superbly bred gallopers from Lloyd Williams Racing, which counts horses by Danehill, Redoute’s Choice, Zabeel and Encosta De Lago among its number.
