Brooklyn Lodge finished as the leading vendor by average at the 2011 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale selling five yearlings at an average $79,000, more than double the average price at this sale.
Brooklyn Lodge had the perfect record bring five to the sale and selling all led by the Fastnet Rock colt from Razzia that made $130,000 to the bid of Hawkes Racing.
Ian Smith of Edinburgh Park is no stranger to the Classic having sold the world champion sprinter Silent Witness at this sale in 2001 and he elected to bypass Magic Millions this year in favour of classic with pleasing results, four yearlings averaging $67,500.
Best seller for Edinburgh Park was a filly by Choisir from Harmonia that made $100,000 to the bid of John Cordina.
First time vendors Bell View Park Stud made a good impression to finish third with four youngsters averaging $58,500, their best seller a Snitzel colt from Hollaback that made $100,000 to the bid of Mick Price.
He is the first foal of well bred mare Hollaback, a metropolitan winning daughter of Group II winner Lady Mulan, who made $350,000 herself as an Inglis Easter yearling so no susprise to see her throw a good sort.
The Mackerell family are putting together a top quality broodmare band including the Group I winner Russeting, so expect to see a lot more of Bell View Park, which is based at Meroo Meadow near Nowra on the South Coast.
