A dominant win by Listen Up in Singapore last weekend was a timely reminder that it is now less than one month until the annual Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale, which will be held at Oaklands on Sunday, November 14.
The son of Shamardal (pictured) was a $130,000 buy for trainer Don Baertschiger from last year’s sale out of the Shipton Lodge draft. He posted a five and a half length winning margin and stopped the clock in a slick 1:35.09 for the 1600m.
“He just needs ground and I think he’s got a bit of a future,” Baertschiger said.
This year's sale will once again feature footage of selected races or breeze ups, which can be viewed via a link to Inglis TV
"There is great demand for both tried and untried racehorses throughout Asia and this sale provides the ideal medium to sell into that market," said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster.
Entries for the sale will be taken until 10am, Monday November 8. Entry forms can be downloaded HERE
