Live and hosted Inglis TV webcast another first for Premier

Inglis Sale Day Live will take on a revolutionary new look at the upcoming Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale with Inglis set to webcast a fully hosted channel called Inglis TV Live, in addition to other live camera and audio streams available at Inglis sales.

Inglis has secured the services of renowned presenters Caroline Searcy and Jason Richardson to host Inglis TV Live from the Oaklands sale ring.

The entire sale will be broadcast live over the internet, with plenty of sale ring action coupled with interviews of buyers, vendors and other industry personnel by Jason and Caroline.

“This is a very exciting initiative for Inglis which provides us the opportunity to focus our sale coverage on what our viewers want to see,” said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster.

“Our coverage will not be interrupted by racing or advertising commitments, and will bring viewers up close and personal with leading local and international bloodstock buyers and personalities.

“I believe this is the first time an auction house anywhere in the world has taken on responsibility for this type of media production.

“Our ability to listen to customers and update our iPad App to their needs has resulted in an enormous amount of positive feedback and we look forward to growing Inglis TV Live along that same principal,” said Webster.

In addition to the new Inglis TV Live coverage web users will be able to access the existing static camera on the sale ring and the dedicated auctioneer audio.

Buyers using the Online Bidding system will receive the usual static sale ring video and auctioneer audio feed to ensure there is no disruption to the bidding function.

Inglis TV Live will begin on Sunday afternoon from1:45pm, with Lots 1 to 120 of the 2013 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale to go under the hammer from 2pm.

Inglis TV Live will broadcast from 10:15am until the last lot sold on the Monday and Tuesday of the sale. The normal Inglis Sale Day Live service will be available on the Wednesday.

TVN coverage of this sale is not available this year due to TVN’s revised programming commitments following the amalgamation of NSW and Victorian media rights.

Photos of buyers, vendors and the sale’s top lots will be made available for all on Inglis’ Facebook page InglisBloodstock. Updates from the sale ring will go out via Inglis’ Twitter account @Inglis_Sales
