All Silent continues to hold a slight edge in Doncaster Mile betting with most pre-post operators – except corporate newcomer Luxbet.
Luxbet is offering a top price of $6.50 about All Silent taking out the $2 million feature but have him as equal favourite with Mark Kavanagh’s star three-year-old Whobegotyou.
“All Silent was super again [on Saturday] and has obviously come back in great order,” Luxbet analyst David McNamara said.
“If all of the fancied runners make it to the race, we could be in for one of the greatest Doncasters of all time.
“Whobegotyou has come back to racing well after his setback early in his preparation and he was terrific again on Saturday.”
Heart Of Dreams, who staved off a luckless Whobegotyou to win the Phar Lap Stakes on Saturday, is being kept safe in Luxbet betting as a $9 Doncaster chance.
“We do have Heart Of Dreams a little bit unders at $9 because Whobegotyou has to give him three kilos in the Doncaster and there really isn’t that much between them,” McNamara said.
McNamara said Les Bridge and the owners of Hot Danish were right to scratch her from Saturday’s Coolmore Classic because of concerns over her 59kg.
“I thought it was a very smart move to do that, she can’t be penalised for the Doncaster if she wins the Queen of The Turf at Rosehill,” he said.
