March Thoroughbred - Day One

Day one of the 2006 William Inglis March Thoroughbred sale concluded today at Oaklands with very pleasing results. The $1,042,950 turnover was achieved for 141 lots sold with an average for day one of $7,397 . The mare New Groove, offered on account of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds, achieved the top price for today, an impressive $90,0000.

“We are extremely happy with the results from today’s sale and look forward to a strong conclusion in all categories tomorrow” said Inglis Director, Peter Heagney.

Buyers can look forward to a strong offering of weanlings, yearlings and racehorses when the William Inglis March Thoroughbred sale resumes tomorrow at 11am.
