Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale this Friday

Boosted by an additional 65 supplementary entries the 2011 Inglis Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale will be held this Friday December 16.

The sale will begin at 11:00am at Inglis’ Oaklands Melbourne complex, with the online catalogue of now 215 entries able to be viewed HERE

Breeders, agents, owners and trainers will have plenty to choose from at the sale boasting quality lots, including broodmares, yearlings, unbroken stock and racehorses.

Broodmares by Fastnet Rock, Zabeel, Sadler's Wells, Testa Rossa, Scenic, Rory’s Jester, Royal Academy, Hussonet, Not A Single Doubt, Grand Lodge and Choisir. Many in-foal and with foals at foot.

Unbroken stock, race fillies and racehorses will follow, including another strong draft from Darley and an excellent mix of stock by proven and exciting young sires such as Lonhro, Fastnet Rock, Encosta de Lago, Bel Espirt, Not A Single Doubt, Street Cry, Commands, Galileo, More Than Ready, Pins, Al Maher, Bianconi, Dash For Cash, Written Tycoon, Gonski, Hard Spun and Ad Valorem.

Lot 21 – Jessie’s Girl – Group Two placed four-year-old daughter of Choisir being sold as a breeding proposition

Lot 22 – Little Dorrit – Daughter of Sadler’s Wells from family of South African Champion filly Igugu. With foal at foot by Aussie Rules and in-foal this season to Stryker.

Lot 23 – Rescues – Young half-sister to Group One winner Ambulance. Served by Super Saver this season.

Lot 43 – Miraclea – Half-sister to the dam of dual NZ Group One winner We Can Say It Now. With a foal at foot by Casino Prince.

Lot 75 – Springtime Fever – Young winning daugther of Champion NZ Two-Year-Old filly Spring Rain.

Lot 95 – Fleur De Louis – Four-year-old placed half-sister to Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel

Lot 110 - Tahitian Black – 4yo Lonhro gelding who won earlier this month at Moonee Valley

Lot 128 – Mightnight Lad – Lightly raced four-year-old gelding from family of Black Caviar

Lot 159 – Kanetoshi Maikosan – Half-sister to three-time Group One winner March Hare with a colt foal at foot by Written Tycoon and served by Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver

Lot 163 – Ora Smytzer – Half-sister to South African Champion Sun Classique in-foal to Danzero

Lot 179 – Broken in two-year-old filly by Dylan Thomas from family of Fastnet Rock
