Due to the record number of entries received for the 2006 Inglis June Weanling and Thoroughbred Sale; the auction has been extended to five days.
Now boasting in excess of 1100 lots, the sale will now take place at Oaklands from Sunday, June 25 to Friday, June 30 inclusive, pausing for a day on Tuesday June 27.
Selling kicks-off on the Sunday with a catalogued 491 weanlings to be offered over two days and featuring progeny of Bel Esprit, Choisir, Catbird, Encosta de Lago, Fusaichi Pegasus, Galileo, More Than Ready, Reset, Rubiton, Royal Academy, Rock Of Gibraltar, Tale Of The Cat, Testa Rossa, Viscount, and more.
Among 390 Broodmares and Stallions due under the hammer on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 of June are mares in foal to Redoute’s Choice, Encosta de Lago, Red Ransom, Danzero, Desert King, Elvstroem, Flying Spur, General Nediym, Tale Of The Cat, Testa Rossa and Show A Heart, while stallions on offer include sons of Sadler’s Wells, Danehill, Storm Cat, Zabeel and Lear Fan.
The sale concludes with an auction of racehorses, yearlings and unbroken stock on Friday June 30, including an unreserved reduction sale of Lloyd Williams Racing.
Along with racehorses by Danehill, Zabeel, Redoute’s Choice, Encosta de Lago, Grand Lodge, Secret Savings and Carnegie, there are 35 well-bred yearlings by sires including Bel Esprit, Good Journey, Commands, Distant Music, King Charlemagne, and Dolphin Street.
