Melbourne March Thoroughbred Sale This Thursday, Friday

The Melbourne March Thoroughbred Sale, which has been extended to two days owing to an overwhelming response from vendors to the sale, will commence this Thursday from 11am at Oaklands.

The catalogue comprises 370 lots and can be viewed HERE. An additional Supplementary entry of 58 horses will be online tomorrow.

The sale includes significant reductions from Darley, Emirates Park and Sutton Grange Stud.

Other notable entries include Sovereign Ruby, the dam of multiple Group winner Doubting, in addition to the dams of fellow stakes winners Lightning Command, Storming Bai, Zingo, Quarterman and Abdullah.

Kilmore Cup winner Tszyu is among a host of strong entries in the racehorse section, while the talented Group 3 placed Spielmeister is being offered as a stallion prospect, alongside Redoute’s Choice three-year-old Beijing Sun.

The sale will be broadcast via the Inglis Sale Day Live service at inglis.com.au and online bidding will be available for those buyers unable to make it to the Oaklands complex.

Horses passed in through the sale will be made available via the Inglis Make an Offer service, which still has unsold yearlings from the Inglis Classic and Premier Sales and last Friday’s Sydney Autumn Thoroughbred Sale available for interested buyers.
