In Australia, Premier graduates are off to another flyer in 2009-10, claiming 16 stakes races already this season, highlighted by G1 Caulfield Guineas hero Starspangledbanner (pictured) and G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes winner Turffontein.
This follows 35 stakes races falling the way of Premier graduates last season, with the Group 1 winners being Weekend Hussler, Reward For Effort and Littorio. In South Africa, Le Drakkar was a Group 1 winning graduate.
Other recent Premier headliners include the star unbeaten filly Black Caviar, Group winning G1 placed performers Ortensia, Bank Robber and Carrara and Group race winners Shamoline Warrior, Rostova, Chinchilla Rose, Belong To Many and highly promising Listed winners Battlefield and Viking Legend.
