Nominations Close Early For Inglis $50K 2YO Bonus At Grafton

Nominations for the next NSW leg of the Inglis Race Series, the Southern Cross Ten 2YO Plate on Grafton Cup Day, close at 11am tomorrow Wednesday July 8.

Conducted by the Clarence River Jockey Club to be run over 1200m on July 16, the race carries a $50,000 Inglis bonus for eligible graduates on top of the base prize money of $27,000 and $10,000 BOBS Bonus.

This will be the final 2YO Bonus event for 2008 graduates, before the first 3YO Bonus will be run over 1300m at Rosehill (3yo Qty) on August 1.

This Saturday's MVRC Purrealist Inglis Bonus at Sandown has attracted 19 Inglis graduates whom are eligible for the $100,000 Inglis Race Series Bonus attached to the 1200m 2YO event, including last start winners Eclair Fastpass, Spirited Halo & Baltic Spirit whom are all looking to keep their perfect strike rates intact.

For 2009 yearling sale graduates, nominations to the Series close at 5pm, July 31.
