Nominations Close Monday For STC Rosebud Inglis Bonus

Nominations for the next leg of the Inglis Race Series, the STC Rosebud Inglis Bonus at Rosehill on August 1, close at 11am next Monday July 27.

Conducted by the Sydney Turf Club to be run over 1200m on August 1, the 3YO Quality carries a potential winners purse of $162,000 for eligible graduates when adding the $100,000 Inglis Bonus to base prize money of $42,000 and $20,000 BOBS.

This will be the first 3YO Bonus event in NSW for 2008 graduates. The first 3YO $100,000 Bonus event in VIC will be run at Flemington over 1400m (3yo SW&P) on September 5.

As was the case with The Mikado's impressive collection of the $50k Inglis Bonus at Grafton last Thursday, The Rosebud should provide an ideal lead up for three-year-olds eyeing off the Gr1 Golden Rose four weeks later at the same venue.

For 2009 yearling sale graduates, nominations to the Series close at 5pm, Friday July 31.
