Nominations For $50k Inglis Bonus At Canberra Close Tuesday

The Inglis Race Series for 2009 Yearling Sale Graduates moves to Thoroughbred Park on $200,000 Canberra Cup Day next Sunday November 29.

The Inglis Bonus 1000m Hcp for Two-Year-Olds will offer a $50,000 bonus to eligible runners on top of base prize money of $10,040. Nominations for the race close at 11am next Tuesday November 24.

The winner of this race will be exempt from the ballot for the 2010 Canberra Black Opal Stakes to be held on Sunday 7th March 2010.

This will be the first bonus offered for 2009 Yearling Sale graduates, following the success or MARMAA in the $250,000 Inglis Juvenile at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day.

The next Inglis Race Series event in Victoria, will be the running of the Inglis Bonus 1400 at Caulfield on December 5, where a $100,000 Inglis Bonus is on offer to eligible graduates on the 3YO Open 1400m event.

Inglis Villiers Day, December 19, will showcase Inglis Race Series events for both 2008 and 2009 graduates. The inaugural $250,000 2YO Inglis Nursery for all graduates will be a major feature on the card as will the $100,000 Bonus on the 1400m 3YO Benchmark 80 Hcp.
