The 2012 Australian breeding season is fast approaching and for the astute investor plenty of great opportunities to capitalise on a positive racing industry are set to be offered at the upcoming 2012 Inglis Melbourne August Thoroughbred Sale.
The two day August Thoroughbred Sale will be held at Inglis’ Oaklands complex on Thursday 16 August and Friday 17 August 2012.
Over 240 broodmares and racefillies are set to be offered at the Melbourne Sale, with selling to begin immediately following a parade of six of Victoria’s well-credentialed first season sires at 12 noon on Day One. Details of the First Season Sire parade are available HERE
“Australian breeders have an outstanding opportunity to enhance their broodmare band on the eve of the forthcoming breeding season,” said Inglis Melbourne Director Peter Heagney.
“This August Sale has assembled many well-credentialed mares, some directly off the racetrack and others in foal to some exciting young stallions as well as those in foal to proven sires.
“With the support of the Victorian Government through VOBIS Gold and Racing Victoria via its increased prizemoney, the future is looking very positive for Victorian breeders.
“The racehorse section of the catalogue also offers many interesting prospects for those wanting to be involved in racehorse ownership,” Heagney said.
