TAB Sportsbet has assessed Saturday’s Inglis 2YO Classic (1200m) as a race in two with Pane In The Glass and Pure Force cornering more than 85 percent of the opening market.
Pane In The Glass is the only youngster in the eight-horse field for the $250,000 event to have won a race with the John Thompson-trained filly unbeaten after two starts.
TAB Sportsbet has posted the daughter of Testa Rossa as a $1.60 favourite ahead of the Gerald Ryan-trained Pure Force at $4.
The pair met in the Inglis Nursery at Randwick on December 18 with Pane In The Glass holding a three-length margin over the Beautiful Crown colt on that occasion.
Meanwhile, the betting agency has installed the Peter Snowden-trained Parthian as the opening favourite for one of the Rosehill card’s trickier races, the Little Bottler Handicap (1400m).
Parthian’s narrow win at Randwick on January 8 promoted TAB Sportsbet to put up the son of Lonhro as a $4.20 favourite ahead of the Gerald Ryan-trained Ego’s Dare at $4.80.
Girl Hussler is a $5.50 chance to turn the tables on Parthian after the David Payne-trained mare finished three quarters of a length behind the Peter Snowden-trained galloper at their last meeting.
The first emergency Joint Chiefs is an $8 chance while Strat’s Flyer is the only other runner under double figure odds at $8.50.
