New Zealand bloodstock agent Paul Moroney has always been a fan of the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and was spending up over the last few days with 16 purchases totalling $645,500 making him the leading buyer.
Moroney, who plucked Blue Diamond winner True Jewels from this sale back in 2000, purchased the progeny of a wide range of sires, his dearest acquisition a colt by Al Samer from Diamond Sands for $115,000, click here to see what he bought.
International participation was largely limited to the Kiwis and the Koreans, the latter snapping up 17 youngsters from the lower end of the market.
Interestingly, Patinack Farm who have been raking in the Inglis bonus cash with exciting filly Pane in the Glass (bought at this sale last year) appear not to have bought a horse.
