Last year's Group 1 AJC Australian Oaks winner Rena's Lady is a supplementary entry into the William Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale.
This follows news that Perfect Drop, the filly that ran second to Rena's Lady in the Oaks, is also a late entry.
The two mares, now four-year-olds, will be sold as consecutive lots.
Rena's Lady is by Danehill's Victoria Derby winner Arena from the stakes winning Rivotious mare Boisterous Lady.
The form from Rena's Lady's Oaks has stood up strongly this season, with Perfect Drop running a brave second to Forensics in this month's G1 Queen of the Turf Stakes and third placed Tuesday Joy a dual Group 1 winner this autumn of the Ranvet Stakes and BMW.
In addition to the Oaks, Rena's Lady was also an easy winner of the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes.
Trainer Gary Portelli said Rena's Lady was a filly for all seasons, having raced as an early two-year-old and then still performing as a late three-year-old.
"She gave me one of my greatest thrills in racing in winning the Oaks,” Portelli said.
“She was one of the toughest fillies I have ever trained.
“She was precocious enough to start in a Gimcrack and sound and tough enough to start in the VRC, AJC and QTC Oaks.
“She should make a lovely broodmare."
Rena's Lady's full-sister Raise is stakes placed this season and ran fifth in yesterday's G1 Arrowfield Stud Stakes.
The William Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale runs from May 4-6.
