Victoria’s Rosemont Stud is set to take centre stage at the upcoming Inglis Great Southern Sale.

The Gnarwarre-based breeding operation will host their annual reduction at what is the final breeding stock sale of 2015.

Boasting an impressive 724-strong catalogue, the Great Southern Sale offers owners and breeders the opportunity to secure stock from some of Australia’s most exciting families, with more than 50 weanlings from stakes performers and 37 stakes-winning broodmares set to go under the hammer.

Rosemont are set to offer 64 Lots across the sale highlighted by Lot 3, a Onemorenomore weanling colt that is a half-brother to Group 1 The Goodwood Handicap winner Perfectly Ready. The bay or brown colt is from Elle Duccio, a half-sister to Golden Slipper winner Belle Du Jour, who boasts nine foals to race for eight winners.

The colt is one of 25 weanlings offered by Rosemont, with youngsters by the likes of Helmet, Choisir, Americain and resident sire Toorak Toff also among their draft.

Other weanlings on offer include a Magnus filly from Chilean Group 1 winner France Soir and a So You Think filly from dual black-type winner Hidden Strings.

The Great Southern Sale will also see 264 broodmares parade, five of which will have foals at foot.

Among Rosemont’s 38 broodmares on offer is Romance Writer, a daughter of One Cool Cat who hails from the family of champion sprinter Lankan Rupee, and Angel Mouse, a daughter of Redoute's Choice from a three-quarter sister to Octagonal, Mouwad and Don Eduardo.

Former Group 1-winning broodmare Penny Gem and Darren Weir’s consistent black-type sprinter Skewiff will also feature in Rosemont’s reduction sale.

Eighty racehorses, 20 yearlings, five unraced prospects and one stallion can also be found within the Great Southern Sale catalogue, which kicks off at Inglis' Oaklands Complex on June 21.
