Sam Triggs has been promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Inglis Rural Property.
Triggs has held the title of Rural Property Sales Manager since joining Inglis in 2014, following eight years with rural property specialists Meares and Associates.
Triggs has managed the growth of the annual sales at Inglis Rural Property from circa $20m in 2014 to $250 million in FY 2021/22.
He will assume his new role on June 1.
Triggs (pictured) was humbled by the promotion.
“Inglis is a great company to work for, the support they give their staff is second-to-none and they encourage development and growth at all levels so to be afforded this position of CEO, Inglis Rural Property, is extremely gratifying,’’ Triggs said.
“I’m looking forward to further developing the Inglis Rural Property business and continuing to grow the brand as a leading marketing agency in eastern Australia focusing on thoroughbred and broadacre farming operations.
“The rural property sector is a dynamic and exciting industry and has experienced significant growth the past 3-4 years; it is an exciting period to be working in the agricultural sector.
“Inglis Rural Property has long operated on the core principles of honesty, integrity and good service and upholding those traditions is front and centre of how I intend to tackle this new role.
“Whilst the company maintains traditional values, the business is extremely progressive in early adoption of new technology, drone operations and all things online – it’s a challenging and stimulating culture to work in.’’
Inglis Group Managing Director Mark Webster added: “Sam is a natural fit for this role and has long been ready for a senior management position.
“Since joining the company he has led the Rural Property division to five consecutive wins in the Real Estate Institution of New South Wales (REINSW) Award for Excellence for Rural Marketer of the Year, he is extremely passionate about his role and has a strong work ethic that has led to countless fantastic results over the past eight years.
“Inglis Rural Property is a dominant market leader and I look forward to seeing Sam continue to shine and flourish in his new role of CEO.’’
As part of the Inglis Rural Property restructure, Liam Griffiths has been appointed as a Sales and Marketing Consultant.
Griffiths is a well-credentialed rural property marketing and sales agent with over six years in the industry, originating from a farming background and more recently, as an auctioneer and rural valuer.
Griffiths will also begin on June 1.
Jamie Inglis, Company Director and fifth generation Inglis family member, will continue to maintain his leadership, strategic oversight and involvement in the division, saying: “Triggs joined the Inglis team with energy and enthusiasm and I congratulate him on his appointment following close to a decade of completing some of the most significant transactions on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.’’
