Scone Broodmare Sale

Timed to coincide with the Annual Hunter Valley Stallion Parades in late August, William Inglis & Son are pleased to announce the inaugural Scone Broodmare Sale to be held at White Park, Scone, on Friday August 24.

The sale has been introduced to allow the Hunter Valley based breeders the opportunity to take their race fillies and mares, many of which are in foal, to a local sale. The arduous float trip to sale venues for mares late in foal is obviously a concern for many breeders and William Inglis & Son understand the need for a local sale.

A strong buying bench is sure to be in attendance for the opportunity to secure broodmares in foal to many leading and commercial stallions. Numerous breeding prospects as well as race fillies off the track ready for their first season at stud will also be on offer.

With Scone being the heartland of the New South Wales thoroughbred breeding industry, it is important that breeders are given the opportunity to sell their breeding stock in a market place that will offer spirited competition, allowing vendors to obtain the best price available.
