Inglis graduates are expected to play a major part in Australia’s richest day of racing at Rosehill tomorrow, with runners in each of the five Group 1 races on the program.

This includes eight of the 13 runners in the $3.5million G1 Golden Slipper that were sold at public auction.

Inglis graduates have won two of the past three Golden Slippers, with the wins by the fillies Miss Finland (2006) and Forensics (2007), with the latter going for more Group 1 glory when she clashes with fellow Inglis star Hot Danish in the Queen of the Turf Stakes tomorrow.

G1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Reward For Effort and G2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes winner Rostova, both Premier Sale graduates, lead the Inglis charge on the Golden Slipper. The Premier charge is rounded out by Delago Bolt, an Inglis $100,000 Bonus race winner prior to taking the LR Black Opal Stakes.

Four Easter graduates have made the final field, with the Group race winners Wanted, Indian Ocean and Headway joined by second emergency Stryker. The final Inglis runner is the Classic graduate Our Joan Of Arc, who has been one of the bargain buys of the season, having already won $242,000 after costing just $15,000 as a yearling.

Tomorrow’s Golden Slipper festival finale provides the forerunner into the 2009 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, which begins from 1pm, this Sunday, April 4.
