Mill Park have a half-sister to today’s Group 1 Epsom Handicap winner Captain Sonador nominated for next year’s Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
The Not A Single Doubt filly now boasts a highly important pedigree update following her big brother’s outstanding performance today.
Previously Group 1 placed in the Randwick Guineas over the same course and distance, Captain Sonador is a son of Darley’s Shamardal and his dam Pushing Daisies is a half-sister to the Group 2 winner Umaline.
Third in the Epsom was Sacred Choice (Choisir), who also has a sibling among nominations for the 2011 Inglis Yearling Sale series.
Chatsworth Park have a Dubai Destination half-sister to Sacred Choice in the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. It is the family of Golden Slipper winner Marauding and this year's Group 1 BTC Cup placegetter Latin News.
Easter II graduate Lovemelikearock (by Fastnet Rock) returned to winning form when upsetting favourite backers with her win over Shannara in the Listed Angst Quality.
Coolmore Stud have a Haradasun half-sister to Lovemelikearock, a Group 3 winner last season, among nominations for next year's Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
Another update for next year's sales came in the Listed Gimcrack Stakes, with the promising debut by Starcraft filly Hallowell Belle. A $170,000 purchase for Denise Martin's Star Thoroughbreds at last year's Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale, Hallowell Belle was later sold to Hallowell Stud in Perth.
The filly is from Bella Inez, a full-sister to the Caulfield Guineas winner In Top Swing. Three Bridges Stud have a Red Ransom filly from the mare nominated for the 2011 Melbourne Premier Sale.
