Inglis Bloodstock Sales Manager Harry Bailey was excited about offering such an elite group of race fillies and mares to buyers.
“Chairman’s has a higher percentage of the commercially appealing mares that will go to market in 2026 than ever before,’’ Bailey said.
“The addition of Chayan to the catalogue is particularly significant because you just never see the best 2YOs being sold at this stage of their career, and having two more mares in foal to Extreme Choice is also a huge opportunity for buyers to be able to access a stallion such as him.
“Next Thursday night is going to be a lot of fun, there will be plenty of action both in and out of the sales ring and we can’t wait for what is hands down the most enjoyable sale anywhere in the world.’’
The Chairman’s Sale will be held the day after the Australian Weanling Sale (May 5 and 6), for which 504 lots have been catalogued.
The weanling sale features progeny of more than 100 different stallions including I Am Invincible, Snitzel, Zoustar, Frankel, Home Affairs, Anamoe, Street Boss, Toronado, Harry Angel, Ole Kirk, Starspangledbanner, Wootton Bassett, Castelvecchio, Sword Of State, So You Think, Alabama Express, Capitalist, Ghaiyyath, Dundeel, Justify, Spirit of Boom, Proisir, Stay Inside, Extreme Warrior etc as well as an exciting crop of first season sires like Benbatl, Cylinder, Don Corleone, Doull, Generation, Hawaii Five Oh, King’s Gambit, Mo’unga, Native Trail, Ozzmosis, Panthalassa, Shinzo, Triple Time etc.
