Supplementaries online ahead of Inglis Scone Broodmare Sale

This Friday's annual Inglis Scone Broodmare Sale has been boosted by an additional 24 supplementary entries, all of which are now online.

The supplementary section includes mares by outstanding stallions like Redoute's Choice, Fastnet Rock, Stratum, Shamardal and Red Ransom, in addition to proven broodmare sires like Canny Lad, Snippets and Quest For Fame.

Covering stallions across the entire catalogue include Al Maher, Mossman, Not A Single Doubt, Tale Of The Cat, Nadeem and Ad Valorem, in addition to exciting young prospects All American, Duke Of Marmalade, Excellent Art, Henrythenavigator, I Am Invincible, Nicconi, Northern Meteor, Myboycharlie, Time Thief and Trotamondo.

Inglis Bloodstock Director Jonathan D'Arcy reiterated what a great opportunity this sale represents to secure broodmares on the eve of the new breeding season.

"We have catalogued a number of very well-bred fillies and mares off the track that would suit the exciting first season sires that are standing in the Hunter Valley this season," D'Arcy said.

"While it is a buyer's market at present, shrewd breeders will be well rewarded in a couple of years' time when they go to sell the progeny of these young mares as weanlings and yearlings."

Selling begins at White Park, Scone, from 11am this Friday, August 26.
