Supplementary Catalogue Boosts Inglis Australian Weanling & Bloodstock Sale

81 quality supplementary entries have boosted next week’s Inglis Australian Weanling & Bloodstock Sale to 648 lots.

The sale at Newmarket will start at 10:30am on Wednesday 22nd June 2011.

The previous day, Tuesday 21st June, will see the TVN First Season Sire Showcase and Inglis ‘Breeding Thoroughbreds For Commercial Sale’ Seminar from 3:30pm.

The supplementary entries include weanlings by Magnus, Shamardal, Not A Single Doubt, Snitzel and Magic Albert.

Additions to the Broodmare section include stakes winning mares Das Machen (by Flying Spur) and Swish Trish (by Redoute’s Choice, in-foal to Starcraft), Group 3 winner Bardego (dam of Black Opal winner Delago Bolt) plus Stellas Delight (half-sister to G2 BRC Queeenland Guineas winner Torio’s Quest).

There are also mares in-foal to leading Australian sires Al Maher, Bel Esprit, Domesday, Magic Albert and young stallions Haradasun, Sebring and Kaphero.

The supplementary yearlings, by Hussonet, Choisir, Bachelor Duke & Danzero, will all be eligible to be nominated for the $2.6million Inglis Race Series.

Additional entries to the racehorse section of the supplementary include stakes placed Cape Cross mare Mont Fleuri, over 10 city winners, plus many lightly raced prospects and country cups candidates.

The original catalogue contained 328 weanlings by promising first season stallions and proven sires, with 40 from or siblings to stakes winners including 10 Group 1 winners.

Lot 209 – Rock Of Gibraltar (IRE) x Possessed – Three-quarter-brother to Group 1 Queensland Oaks runner-up Becerra
